Sunday

Fashion Icons.

I was recently looking for pictures that have inspired and continue to inspire what I like to wear, and what I would like to wear. Anyways, after spending many minutes and probably many hours lazying around the computer looking at my favourite looks from actresses, singers, and just plain old famous people, I came up with a small list.
In no specific order:

-Anything that Zooey Deschanel wears. Love that girl.
-Kristen Bell, one of my favourite actresses always has a classy, cute look

-Marilyn Monroe, an all-time oldies favourite. My room is completely Marilyn-ized!

-Jessica Love Hewitt, oh my goodness, I love everything about her.
-Audrey Hepburn, she is just so lovely.
-Sienna Miller, she is gorgeous in everything and anything, works it all. Thats probably what makes me love her looks so much.
-Chloe Sevigny, not only is her fashion line fabulous, but all her of her personal clothing is beyond words.
-Chanel. anything Chanel makes me weak in the knees.
-Jessica Alba, so cute!!
-Kate Moss, what a fresh look she has--still.
-Kiera Knightly, first off - pretty, pretty lady, and her style is great.
-Alexa Chung, let's face it, you have to be crazy to not admire that girl or her style.
-Leighton Meester, in Gossip Girl clothing of course!
-Olivia Palermo, as much as Whitney fans hate to admit, Olivia has an eye for the good stuff.
-Camilla Belle, what a stunner. Not only do her looks put her close to the top of almost anyone's lists but she has lovely style.
-Gwenyth Paltrow, what a blonde beauty.
-Rachel McAdams, a Canadian actress, I'm often told I look liker her.
- Can't forget the cast of my new favourite show, Pretty Little Liars-- Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell, and Ashley Benson.

Hope these lovely ladies can give more inspiration!!
Enjoy,

Glamour?- C.C.

What is Glamour?

Marilyn Monroe was with friend Susan Strasberg downtown New York dressed in casual clothing with no make up. Everyone ignored her until she whispered in Susan's ear, "Watch this." Her body language changed, her hips swivelled. Suddenly the crowd clamoured for her autograph.

A woman with true glamour has this female sorcery, a form of fashion witchcraft that has the power to enchant and beguile. The original belief was that magic had the power to elevate mundane reality-- through the right combination of spells, the eye could be fooled into thinking that what it was seeing, was something spectacular.

Glamour is what makes a man ask for your telephone number and a woman ask for the name of your dressmaker. It is not all low-cut gowns and the slinky dress. Blue jeans can still make a woman look beautiful. Glamour isn't just about having the right handbag-- it's about having the right personality too and some of the world's most adorable women have been gorgeous inside AND out.
